Although our beautiful inn is idyllically set in the foothills of the Colorado Rockies, we understand that maybe not everyone in your group is into rafting, fishing, hiking, or skiing. Or maybe you don’t have the time to set aside to fully enjoy one of these activities and just want to spend a couple of hours breaking a sweat somewhere.That’s truly one of the benefits of Golden, Colorado; our town can offer visitors the opportunity to experience the Western outdoors while retaining access to a bustling nightlife and more urban conveniences. You see, we’re located just 15 minutes from downtown Denver, so it’s no trick at all to jump on the highway and drive to a variety of local gyms, spas, skate parks, tennis courts, racquetball courts, golf courses, swimming pools, disc golf courses, running tracks, or just about anything else you like to do to get your heart pumping. Many of the local facilities offer drop-in rates for aerobics classes, spinning classes, or yoga sessions.
We really understand that sometimes the “great outdoors” just isn’t practical. Sometimes you want to enjoy some physical activities without the dirt, bugs, animals, and birds that are common throughout the Colorado landscape. Sometimes the thought of white-knuckling an oversized paddle while bucking over Class IV rapids just isn’t as enticing as it should be.
