Play Local

Located in historic downtown Golden, Table Mountain Inn puts you enticingly close to a number of popular Colorado attractions. Coors Brewery and the Colorado School of Mines are only steps away from our front door, as are the Foothills Art Center and the city of Golden's Recreation and Community Center. A variety of quaint and unique shops, galleries, and a day spa Urban Escape are within walking distance.

When you're ready for a day trip, you have all that Denver has to offer within minutes from the hotel, including Bandimere Speedway, Red Rocks Amphitheater, Coors Field, Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium, Pepsi Center, Blackhawk Casinos and Central City Casinos. Nestled at the foot of the Rocky Mountains, Table Mountain Inn is surrounded by celebrated hiking and biking trails, fishing, rafting, and other outdoor activities.

You could plan an entire vacation around these indoor and outdoor activities that are sure to please everyone in your group. Several shops in the area will be glad to outfit you with bikes, packs, tents, or anything else you need to experience all that the Front Range has to offer. The river hounds in your group will appreciate the fact we're so close to an abundance of rafting, kayaking, and fishing opportunities. Experience the thrill of rafting over Class IV rapids, "surf" Colorado in one of the local favorite kayaking runs, or cast over renowned trout water in the west.

Of course, don't forget skiing and snowboarding. Springtime in the Rockies is a sight to behold; by November Colorado turns into a Winter Wonderland. Golden is easy access and less than an hour's drive to several world-class ski resorts. Need more ideas? Check out VisitGolden.com for more attractions in the area!

From the simplicity of a 100 yard par 3 to the cruelty of a 659 yard par 5, Fossil Trace offers every level of player a unique and yet satisfying challenge. Length of the hole is not your only concern as the undulation of the greens combined with the treachery of the 10-foot deep fairway and green side bunkers will test even the most accomplished player. Twenty-foot tall pillars of sandstone emerge from # 12 fairway, demanding that each player be respectful of the 64 million year old trace fossils of palm fronds and triceratops footprints located adjacent to #12 green.
