We had Table Mountain cater a special family event of 150 people. it was a difficult task because we had to get in and out in a very timely manner due to an event following ours. Ashley said don't worry and there was no need to worry. The staff did an amazing job. It was perfect. Everyone said the food was delicious! Thank you!! ~ Guest
I took my wife and daughter here to celebrate our anniversary. I was hesitant to go here due to mixed reviews, menu change and that the Cantina was attached to a Hotel. Regardless, I made our reservations on line, which was easy to do so. We arrived 20 min early, I was presently greeted by the hostess. We looked around at the Hotel and was surprised of the friendly atmosphere and waiting are for the Hotel and Cantina guests. When our table was ready we were politely greeted by server, we ordered our drinks and the Dip trio appraiser. The presentation of the appitiser was modern and well executed, the home made chips and green chili queso and the guacamole was good. The surprise was the chiplote salsa it was flavorful, great smokey taste and wasn't too spicy. For dinner my Wife ordered the Adobo-Marinated Chicken Breast Fajitas. The presentation of the dish was exquisite, the chicken was well cooked, moist (not dry) and well seasoned, the veggies were perfectly cooked tender and crisp (not mushy). The cotija was the perfect match for the seasonings and flavors of the adobo-chicken and veggies. My daughter had the Pork Carnitas Grilled Mesa Burrito (chimi-style). The presentation was wonderful, the Chimi was crisp and the pork and veggies was excellently cooked and seasoned. The green chili was an average chili. I ordered the Beef Barbacoa Grilled Mesa Burrito (regular). Again the presentation was wonderful and the beef and veggies was excellently cooked and seasoned. For desert my wife and I shared the Key lime pie (hesitant to do so, because my wife is a key-lime fanatic) when it arrived the presentation was exquisite, there was a large slice of pie with a raspberry puree drizzled on top and on the side with fresh raspberry's and an home made whip cream garnish. The pie itself was light and had the perfect balance of sweet and tangy-ness of the lime, the crust was perfect (light, crispy and buttery). The added flavor of the raspberry and whip cream really pleased the picky pallet of my wife. The prices of the menu are a little higher than average. However the taste, presentation and size of the portion and staff make up for the slightly higher price. During our visit I was surprised that the Chef periodically made an appearance in the dining area and talked to the guests. The server's are friendly and attentive. The Cantina had a warm, friendly, clean and well decorated environment. ALL the Staff from the manager to the bussers was superb and efficient. The presentation, quality and value of the food was excellent. This is a great place for special events, family gatherings, to bring out-of-town guests or just to have Good food and enjoy Historic downtown Golden. I cant wait to return and try other menu items and revisit this wonderful Cantina and staff. ~ Guest
